History
The school was originally in the Karama area of Dubai. It had a humble beginning in portacabins, with only around 200 students. In 1988, it shifted to its current campus located near Safa Park in Jumeirah. The school recently celebrated its 20th anniversary on the 20th of September, with the first gathering of alumni and the formation of the Alumni Association. The team comprised Shrivats Mohan Iyer, Kaushik Mohan Iyer, Adhitya Srinivasan and Rajiv Naresh. Shrivats won 1st place in the preliminary round and in the 'Just A Minute' segment in the semi-finals. In the finals, Modern High beat the host school. Adhitya Srinivasan was adjudged the 'Most Promising Speaker'.
