Dublin Business School (DBS) is one of the leading independent business colleges in Ireland and provides a comprehensive range of undergraduate, graduate, professional and executive education programms.


History

The School, which was originally known as Accountancy and Business College, was established in 1975 to provide evening courses for students preparing for the examinations of the professional accounting bodies. The School developed rapidly and by the mid 1980's was providing accounting, marketing and banking courses for full-time and part-time students. Study Abroad Program

The DBS Ireland Study Abroad Program offers undergraduate students an opportunity to study for a semester at an Irish University. Students are fully integrated academically and socially with their Irish counterparts at the Dublin Business School (DBS).


The DBS Ireland program is offered both fall and spring semesters. The autumn (fall) semester starts in late August with the foundation course on Irish history and culture and ends in mid December. The spring semester runs from early January to late April. Exact dates vary each year. Each semester in Dublin begins with the foundation couse. In addition to classes, students may participate in an unpaid internship.
