Dumitru Rusu is a Romanian painter whose artistic activity draws inspiration from the rural charm and folklore of Bukovina, where he resides. Born on November 6, 1938, he graduated from the Institute of Art in Cluj-Napoca and has had numerous exhibitions both in Romania and in other parts of the world. His latest series, called Time and Season in Bukovina, contains both oil paintings and watercolors and focuses on the picturesque display of the distinct four seasons in that part of the country.
