Dunford Bridge is a remote hamlet lying northwest of Sheffield in South Yorkshire, England, 1.3 miles from the border with West Yorkshire. It lies in the Peak District, five miles west of Penistone and three miles south of Holmfirth, within the Metropolitan Borough of Barnsley. Before the Local Government Act 1972 the area covered by South Yorkshire was part of the West Riding of Yorkshire.
