Dural is a semi-rural suburb 36 km north-west of the central business district of Sydney, Australia, in the shires of Hornsby and Baulkham Hills. Originally called Dooral-Dooral from the Aboriginal "a smoking hollow tree". The original inhabitants of the Dural area were the Darug people.
