Noun
dysfunction (plural dysfunctions)
the breakdown or abnormal behaviour of a function. It usually refers to a disorder in a bodily organ, a mental disorder or the improper behavior of a social group.
Erectile dysfunction in younger patients and in patients with primary impotence is due mainly to organic causes, usually vascular in origin.
