Encyclopedia > Earl Whitworth

The title of Earl Whitworth was created in the Peerage of the United Kingdom in 1815 for Viscount Whitworth, the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland. It became extinct upon the death of the 1st Earl in 1825.


The Earl also bore the titles of Viscount Whitworth (1813) in the Peerage of the United Kingdom and Baron Whitworth (1800) in the Peerage of Ireland.
