The title of Earl of Fife was created several times in the Peerages of Scotland, Ireland, and the United Kingdom. See also Duke of Fife, Marquess of Fife, Baron Fife. The last Earl, who was also created Duke of Fife and Marquess of Macduff in 1889 and then again Duke of Fife and Earl of Macduff in 1900, held two Earldoms of Fife, one in the Peerage of the UK (1885) and one in the Peerage of Ireland (1759), as well as the subsidiary titles of Viscount Macduff (1759) and Baron Braco of Kilbryde (1735) in the Peerage of Ireland, and Baron Skene (1857) in the Peerage of the United Kingdom.
