The title of Marquess Curzon of Kedleston was created in the Peerage of the United Kingdom in 1921 for the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, the Earl Curzon of Kedleston. The title became extinct upon his death four years later. The Peerage is a system of titles of nobility which exists in the United Kingdom and is one part of the British honours system. ... Upon the Marquess's death, all of the Curzon titles became extinct. The viscountcy and barony of Scarsdale were inherited by his heir-male, a nephew, while the barony of Ravensdale was inherited by his eldest daughter.
