The title Baron Ravensworth has been created once in the Peerage of Great Britain and then again in the Peerage of the United Kingdom . The first barony became extinct in 1784 .
The second barony was created in 1821 , and in 1874 the 2nd Baron was created Earl of Ravensworth and Baron Eslington . These titles became extinct following the death of the 3rd Earl in 1904 , while the barony of Ravensworth passed to a cousin.
