Atari released a variety of details relating to Earthworm Jim PSP. They revealed a level resembling "New Junk City", as well as a level called "The Birds and the Bees", chronicling a war between the two factions. Earthworm Jim was also to feature two new moves which include "rocket boots" and the "Battery of the Gods", a power-up which would send Jim into a "super mode", in which he could fly, would be invulnerable, and could execute powerful melee combos. The game was to feature multiplayer support, where two players would be able to compete with each other for high scores. The game was to feature new characters, with only one being revealed called "Tapeworm Slim".[citation needed]
