Breed Characteristics The East Bulgarian is a highly attractive horse of great refinement and quality that excels in all sorts of riding capacities from jumping to dressage and is also a very useful light dtaft animal. Typically, they have quiet but energetic temperaments and are nicely put together, with good conformation. In appearance, they have a fine head with a straight profile and large kind eyes. The head should be well set to an elegant, muscular neck which is quite strong and slopes into prominent withers.
