Eccleston, Chorley, Lancashire

Eccleston is a village located in Chorley Borough, Lancashire. It is situated on the banks of the River Yarrow and was formerly an agricultural and later a weaving settlement. Nowadays it has grown to a population of 5000 and acts as an attractive rural suburb for commuters to Central Lancashire, Liverpool and Manchester, set amidst pleasant countryside.
