Life before politics and activism At the age of 16 Edward smoked his first Blunt or "Marijuana cigarette" and was immediately impressed by its medical healing powers, in regards to his asthma. He stopped using the dangerous chemical medicine his doctor prescribed, usually Steroids. With marijuana Ed was able to live a fairly normal health life. It was then when he earned his nick name "weedman" from his friends after boasting about marijuana's powers of healing. In 1986 he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps without marijuana, he had an asthma attack and was medically dis-charged. After being dis-charged from the USMC, he changed his name to Edward and enlisted in the United States Army. While in the army he began to use marijuana against the warnings from the government. On April 18th 1988 he married his first wife Pam in Ft.Bliss, Texas, and in 1990 he was honorably dis-charged from the army. He became a coast to coast trucker using his own truck he purchased in 1994. Image File history File links Njweedman_wants_you2. ...
