Encyclopedia > Eddie Breckenridge

Eddie Breckenridge is the bassist of the post hardcore band, Thrice. Eddie joined the band having virtually no experience playing the bass (he was a skating buddy of soon to be singer/guitar Dustin and lead guitarist Teppei). He soon convinced his brother Riley to join as the band's drummer. Eddie has improved greatly as a bass player despite an elbow problem that prevents him from turning over his left hand fully (making fingering the fret board more difficult than usual). On the band's 2003 major label debut, The Artist in the Ambulance, Ed's growing bass skills are seen clearly on the song Stare at the Sun. Thrice Formed in 1997, Thrice is an experimental American post-hardcore band from Irvine, California. ...

He also enjoys crocheting, and is a bike nerd.
