Edmundo Alves de Souza Neto (born April 2, 1971 in Niterói) is a Brazilian football player. He played several seasons Clube de Regatas Vasco da Gama. After three seasons playing in the J. League for Tokyo Verdy 1969 and Urawa Red Diamonds, he returned to Rio De Janeiro and now plays for Fluminense. Emundo played for Brazil at the 1998 World Cup and is known for his fiery temper and subsequent receiving of numerous red cards.
