Edsel B. Ford II was born on Dec. 27, 1948, in Detroit. He is the Great-Grandson of Henry Ford. Edsel is currently a member of the Board of Directors. He was named president and chief operating officer of Ford Motor Credit in 1991, and elected a Ford Vice President in 1993.
Mr. Ford is married to the former Cynthia Layne Neskow and they have four sons. The family lives in Grosse Pointe Farms, Mich.
