Miscellanea - "Foxy Foxy" was featured on the April 13, 2006 episode of The OC, "The Dawn Patrol".
- "Foxy Foxy" was also used for Candice Michelle's Playboy Cover Unveiling on an episode of WWE Raw.
- The album contains many references to the Salem Witchcraft trials, as evidenced by the songs "American Witch" and "Lords of Salem".
- The introductory track "Sawdust In The Blood" is a recreation (and modification) of Brad Fiedel's instrumental piece "'Trust Me'", featured in the film Terminator 2: Judgment Day.
- Educated Horses can be described as Rob Zombie's most experimental album to date. John 5 experimented with a number of acoustics, like on "Sawdust In The Blood" and "Death Of It All." Rob's vocals are less brutal and gruff, like on previous albums; instead he sings in a more sensual manner. There's also lots of handclapping on the first half of the album. An enjoyable album nonetheless, critics have praised Zombie for being so musically flexible in a world of copycats.
