Edvard Rusjan was born in Trieste, Austro-Hungarian Empire, on July 6, 1886 (1).
It was assembled by Grazia Rusjan, the niece of Edvard.
Rusjan is considered the pioneer of Slovene motorised aviation and was also the first in Slovenia and the Balkans to fly a self-made plane.

Edvard Rusjan became enthusiastic about flying when he was 11 years old.
Edvard and his brother, Joze Rusjan, inspired by the work of Lilienthal and Kress, invented this monoplane model in 1900.
