Edward Fox (born 13 April 1937) is an English stage, film and television actor.
However, it was as the assassin in 1973's The Day of the Jackal that he made the biggest impression, and from then on he was much sought after.
In 1980, he played King Edward VIII in the television drama series, Edward and Mrs Simpson and in 1983 played M in the unofficial James Bond film Never Say Never Again.
