Encyclopedia > Eerie Von
The "Classic" Danzig lineup, circa 1988, left to right: John, Chuck, Glenn, and Eerie

Eerie Von was born on August 25, 1964. Eerie was the drummer for Rosemary's Babies, a Hardcore punk band from Lodi, New Jersey. During his tenure in that band, Von struck a friendship with Glenn Danzig and The Misfits, becoming the band's roadie and photographer, and was once asked to join the Misfits, but declined. After The Misfits broke up, Von played bass guitar for Glenn's band Samhain from 1983-1988, they then changed their name to Danzig which he played with from 1988 to 1995. He currently works as a solo performer, and has had much underground success with his "Fiend Art" which showcase his disturbing themes on canvas.
