A typical variety of spices available at The Spice Bazaar The Spice Bazaar in Istanbul, Turkey (also known as the Egyptian Bazaar) (Turkish: Mısır Çarşısı) is one of the oldest bazaars in the city. Located in Eminönü, it is the second largest covered shopping complex after the Grand Bazaar. It is so named because various spices from the Orient were offered here in the past, and the alternative name, 'Egypian Bazaar', was so named because the spices came via Egypt.
