On November 11th 1945, "Elbe II" was blown up by the Royal Engineers, the mid-wall and the roof crashed down and shattered U 3506.
There is no official access to "Elbe II" but there are always possibilities to get to the ruin with its huge, v-formed and nowadays grass-covered roof lying on the outer walls, and to climb into the boxes or the roofless work box section.
The Elbe II bunker is located on the southern bank of the Elbe river at the Vulcanhafen.
