Eldredge, a business administration student at SCC who was originally from Raleigh, was found lying next to an automobile that had rolled off and struck a tree, Ashe said.
Eldredge apparently pushed the vehicle out of the way so he could get to his own vehicle and leave the party, Ashe said.
He is survived by his parents, Nina and Lee Eldredge of Raleigh, and a brother, Matthew Eldredge of Tennessee.
