Voters in Ohio, as in other U.S. states elect a certain number of representatives to the United States House of Representatives. The following chart shows the results of the elections for the 23rd congressional district of Ohio. The 23rd district was created after the elimination of the at-large seat after the 1950 election. The 23rd district was eliminated in the redistricting following the 1980 census. Bold type indicates victor. Italic type indicates incumbent.
