Thomas Baptist Morello (born May 30, 1964) is the guitarist of the band Audioslave, and formerly of Rage Against The Machine.
He had formed a band in 1980 called the Electric Sheep with future Tool guitarist Adam Jones.
Few if any of the Sheep could really play an instrument at first, but the band was an impetus to start honing his skills.

While in L.A, Maynard James Keenan's, Adam's soon-to-be-bandmember in Tool, roommate was future Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello.
Adam and Tom joined to create the band Electric Sheep.
