Electrocute is a Los Angeles based electronic band. Members Nicole Morier from Albuquerque, USA and Mia Dame from Vienna, Austria met in Berlin, Germany. They formed a duo motivated by the explosive electro-pop/electroclash music scene happening in Berlin. ^[1] They both do vocals and beats with Nicole on guitar and Mia on bass. ^[2] Their sound is inspired by influential members of the electroclash scene, notably Peaches and Chicks on Speed. Electrocute, like others of the same musical genre, has punk style electronic beats, often paired with brazenly sexual lyrics including strong female subjects.
