El�as Figueroa is an association football player from Chile. In 2004 he was chosen by FIFA as one of the world's 125 best living soccer players. He was considered the best player in The Americas in 1974, 1975, 1976 and Chile. His nickname is "Don Elias" (Sir Elias). Figueroa played in the 1966's (England), 1974's (Germany) and 1982's (Spain) World Cup events. He played in several teams, including Uni�n La Calera, Santiago Wanderers, Palestino and Colo-Colo of Chile, Pe�arol in Uruguay, Internacional in Brazil and the Fort Lauderdale Strikers of the NASL.
