Elijah Boardman (March 7, 1760 - August 18, 1823) was a United States Senator from Connecticut. Born in New Milford, he was educated by private tutors, and served in the American Revolutionary War. He was employed as a clerk in a mercantile establishment, and engaged in mercantile pursuits from 1781 to 1812. He was a member of the State house of representatives from 1803 to 1805 and again in 1816, and a member of the State upper house from 1817 to 1819; from 1819 to 1821, he was a member of the State senate.
