The contestant (sometime a female but most often a male) meets their four dates one by one, and then gives their first impression in a confessional-style cutscene. The other four contestants do the same to each other. The group of five is cut by one each round and in each round the group usually goes to a different place. Contestants who are cut have the opportunity to comment their eviction. Many, who are often clearly intoxicated with alcohol, comment He/she wasn't my type, anyway. Although the four contestants usually compete intensely for the main contestant, there has been at least one instance of two females leaving with each other because they were so disgusted with the male contestant. The syndicated program premiered in September 2001. It's produced by Dawn Syndicated Productions in association with Telepictures Productions, and distributed by Warner Bros.
