The major lakes are BULL LAKE, BUCK LAKE, HORSESHOE LAKE, CRANNBERRY LAKE, THE SALMON RIVER. Many other lakes encompass the vast lands and are metticulously hidden throughout. Some of these are: LITTLE MARL LAKE, BIG MARL LAKE, CROTCH LAKE, SHEFFIELD LAKE.

Although undeveloped, there are places to camp or board available. ELM TREE lodge is an original four bedroom farmhouse nesled on 220 acres and located near BULL LAKE. The house has been restored to original condition and modern amenities have been added. For reservations, please e-mail jhelmeste@hotmail.com. It's an oustanding example of how life was back then when the land was divied up in large portions about six hundred acres each.
