Elmer "Moose" Vasko, member of the Chicago Blackhawks' last Stanley Cup championship team, has died.
Vasko died of cancer on Friday at Loyola University Medical Center.
Standing at 6-foot-3, 220 pounds, Vasko was one of the largest men in the National Hockey League -- hence his nickname "Moose," which was chanted by the Chicago Stadium crowd whenever he took to the ice.
