During the election campaign, he used Bender's body (which Bender had sold for money) and gained huge support from the robots. Incidentally, he returned Bender's body to Bender after the Planet Express crew taped his plans to "go into people's houses at night and wreck up the place" and to sell children's organs to zoos for meat. The Planet Express crew made a deal that Nixon would get the tape in exchange for returning Bender's body. However, Nixon won the election by obtaining a giant robotic body. One of the richest people on Earth. She maintains a public image of being a sweet, matronly figure through use of a fat suit and talented acting, when in fact she is almost emaciated, crass, and malevolent. Her sons Walt, Larry, and Ignar assist her in her endeavors. She was once romantically involved with Professor Farnsworth over 70 years ago, but their breakup left her even more bitter. She appears to be based on the villain "Mom" (Kate Murtagh) from Dan Akroyd's film Doctor Detroit where she is the owner of a limousine service. Just like Mom's henchmen in Doctor Detroit, Futurama Mom's sons all wear grey chauffeur outfits.

A Bender - Unit 22 robot who looks and sounds exactly like Bender with the exception of having a small triangular metal goatee (see Mirror, Mirror) on his chin. He first appeared in "The Lesser of Two Evils" when Fry accidentally ran him over with a 20th Century gasoline-fuelled car. He became good friends with Bender, inspiring jealousy and suspicion from Fry, especially as Flexo often played cruel jokes on him (though much like the way Bender does). Fry originally believed that Flexo was an evil twin of Bender and suspected that he would try to steal the crown from the Miss Universe pagent. However, it ended up that Bender was the one attempting to steal the crown and Flexo was actually trying to stop him, therefore making Bender the evil twin (I'm shocked, shocked! Okay, well, not that shocked. - Fry). But when the police arrived at the scene, they accidentally mistook Flexo for Bender and arrested him instead. Later on in "another episode," Bender briefly dated his ex-wife Angleyne. Flexo has a habit of pretending to be angry when he actually isn't. He often slanders or threatens an individual and then subsequently lightens up, adding "Nah, I'm just kidding." A large toad which is possibly alien, mutated, and/or genetically engineered, it has oscillating multicolored eyes, and emits a strange humming sound. The sound, called "Angry Machine" was used as a temporary sound by the shows animators, and suited the Hypnotoad animation so much that it was used in the actual episode ("The Day the Earth Stood Stupid"). It was rumored to be derived from the sounds of the Millennium Falcon from Star Wars. The Hypnotoad has the power to hypnotize anyone it wants at will. It seems that the Hypnotoad is unique, or that he is perhaps the only example of his species living on Earth. It is revealed that the Hypnotoad is starring in its own television show Everybody Loves Hypnotoad which Fry claims "has been going downhill since season three".
