Menno's oog was gevallen op de Elzbach, een riviertje wat we in de laatste jaren nog niet hadden geprobeerd.
De Elzbach stroomde redelijk door maar was breder dan de Dhron, al was hij nog niet overal echt diep, in het algemeen een gemoedelijke rivier waar ook de bomen vriendelijker zijn.
