Emanuele Pirro, born December 1, 1962 in Rome, Italy, is an Italian auto racing driver.
From 1989 - 1991 he was a Formula One driver and participated in 40 grands prix.
After leaving Formula One, Pirro becamed involved in sportscar racing, driving for Audi Sport Team Joest, winning the 24 Hours of Le Mans three consecutive years (2000 - 2002) with Frank Biela and Tom Kristensen, and several races in the American Le Mans Series with Biela.

Occupying a premier factory ride is most definitely a blessing, but according to Pirro, there's a certain amount of responsibility and a special sort of pressure that goes along with it.
