The Emirates Office Tower, also referred to as Emirates Tower One is a 54-floor office building along Sheikh Zayed Road in the city of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. Connected with the 56-floor Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel by a retail boulevard, they form what is commonly referred to as the Emirates Towers complex. The tower has a total structural height of 354.6 m (1,163 ft) and roof height of 311 m (1,020 ft) making it the 12th tallest currently-standing fully-habitable building in the world[1]. The Emirates Towers complex contains the Emirates Office Tower and Emirates Towers Hotel skyscrapers, respectively the 12th (355m) and the 27th (309m) tallest currently-standing structures in the world, and a 9,000 m² (96,875 ft²) two story retail complex known as The Boulevard connecting the two towers.
A curiosity of the design is that the towers have a similar number of floors (Office Tower: 54 floors, Hotel: 56 floors); the individual floor heights of the office tower are greater than that of the hotel.
Emirates Towers is set in over 170,000 m² (1,829,865 ft²) of gardens, complete with lakes, waterfalls, public seating areas and with parking space for up to 1800 cars.
