History
It was first established in the early 1940's in Stouffville, Ontario. It moved from its previous site to where it is located now in the early 1960s, 100 Fergus Ave.
Mission Emmanuel Bible College equips women and men to think, live, serve and lead in the church and the world.
Lives Changing Lives
For over 63 years, EBC has served the church by changing the lives of students. Our Faculty and staff dedicate their lives to this goal each and every day. It is our hope that their lives will in turn change the lives of others all over the world.
Campus Its campus is composed of 6 buildings; a church, an administration building, a cafeteria, two dorms housing students in a co-ed environment, and a library. The church building is where classes and daily services are conducted. The main administration building was constructed when the college moved from its original site to where it is presently located. The library was built in the 1980s to memorialize a missionary who died while she was serving in another country.
Educational Offerings (Programs) EBC is a Bible College with the distinction of offering both Degree and Diploma programs focusing on a variety of faith and ministry disciplines. These programs include a four year Batchelor of Theology program (BTh) as well as a three-year Batchelor of Relgious Education (BRe). These programs offer a varity of major choices, as well as double-major options. Aswell, the school offers a variety of short-term diploma and cirtificates, such as the one year MountainTop program and the new Expedition program.
The school offers a good balance of biblical foundations for student's lives as well as practical skills that can be applied to a variety of professional and lay ministry settings.
Faculty The faculty in this school however is outstanding. It is composed of highly motivated, dedicated, and knowledgeable academics who do their absolute best to educate students.
Administration The administration is headed by a presedent named Derrick Mueller ("Dr.D"- it should be noted that his doctorate is in Leadership)
