Emperor Duānzōng (端宗, 1268-May 8, 1278) was the penultimate emperor of Southern Song Dynasty of China who died a boy. He was also known as Lord Establishing-Nation (建國公).
Born Zho Sh (趙是), he was the child of Emperor Gong. He became Prince Ji (吉王) in 1274 and Prince Yi (益王) in 1276. Enthroned at Fuzhou on June 14, 1276, his reign had the era name of Jǐngyn (景炎). He died at Gangzhou.
He was succeeded by his younger brother, Emperor Bing.
Emperor Daigo was the eldest son of his predecessor, Emperor Uda Emperor Uda (宇多天皇 Uda Tennō) (May 5, 867- July 19, 931) was the 59th imperial ruler of Japan, according to the traditional order of succession.
Emperor Uda was the seventh son of Emperor Kōkō by Princess Madarako whose grandfather was Emperor Kammu.
Emperor Daigo was succeeded by his son, Emperor Suzaku Emperor Suzaku (朱雀天皇 Suzaku Tennō) (923-952) was the 61st imperial ruler of Japan, according to the traditional order of succession.
