Emperor Junna (淳和天皇) (786-840) was the 53rd imperial ruler of Japan. He was a son of Emperor Kammu. After the rebellion of ex-emperor Heizei he became the crown prince of Emperor Saga of Japan. He reigned from 823 to 833.

Emperor Saga (嵯峨天皇, Saga tennō) (786–842) was the 52nd imperial ruler of Japan, according to the traditional order of succession.
He was the second son of Emperor Kammu, and younger brother of Emperor Heizei, his predecessor.
Saga was a scholar of the Chinese classics and, according to legend, the first Japanese emperor to drink tea.

According to the chronicles of Japan II (續日本紀), Japanese Emperor Kammu's (桓武天皇) MOTHER is a direct descendant of Korean King Muryeong of Baekje, Korea.
Emperor Kanmu or Kammu (桓武天皇, Kanmu-tennō) (737–806) was the 50th Imperial Ruler of Japan.
Emperor Kanmu was the son of the Emperor Kōnin.
