Rinchinbal (Classical Mongolian: Rinčinbal; Khalkha Mongolian:Ринчинбал Rinchinbal from Tibetan rin chen dpal) was the 14th grand-khan of the Mongol Empire (Dai-�n Ulus/Yuan Dynasty).

He was the second son of Kuśala Khutughtu Khan and a yonger brother of Toghun Tem�r. He was mothered by Babusha of the Naiman tribe when his father lived in exile in Central Asia.

When his father Kuśala died and was succeeded by Tugh Tem�r, Rinchinbal was appointed to Prince of Fu. Although Tugh Tem�r Khan had a son named El Teg�s when he died in 1332, his widow and El Teg�s's mother Budashiri Khatun respected Tugh Tem�r's will of making Kuśala's son succeed the throne in stead of El Teg�s.

The de facto ruler El Tem�r resisted letting Kuśala's eldest son Toghun Tem�r ascending the throne since he was suspected of having poisoned Toghun Tem�r's father Kuśala. At that time Toghun Tem�r was kept far away from the capital Dadu while infant Rinchinbal was in Dadu and had got favored by Tugh Tem�r. So El Tem�r decided to install Rinchinbal but he passed away in two months at the seventh age.

El Tem�r again asked Budashiri for installing El Teg�s but was declined. He had no choice but to put Toghun Tem�r back from far-away Yunnan.
