Emsdetten school shooting
On November 20, 2006, at about 9:30 AM local time, an 18-year old gunman, Sebastian Bosse, entered Geschwister Scholl School (a Realschule) firing several shots and injuring 37 (16 of these were policemen injured by a smoke grenade while entering the school) people. Bosse, who graduated from the school in 2005, then killed himself with a shot to his head. In an Internet posting and a video message from his parents' living room shortly before the attack, Bosse stated that he hated people and was taught to be a 'loser' at this school. He also left a suicide note on his Internet homepage, which is now closed. [1] [2] November 20 is the 324th day of the year (325th in leap years) in the Gregorian Calendar. ...
