It was the title track from his worldwide hit album, Encore, which was also released that year. Encore was eventually certified 4-times platinum; however, it was a sales disappointment compared to Eminem's previous two albums.
Apperently there was a song ready about Christopher Reeve but probably due to his death it was taken off the album.
