Enoch Arden Holtwick, (born 1881 -± 1972 in Greenville, Illinois,^[1] was an educator with a long record of actively supporting the temperance movement. He was the Prohibition Party candidate for Illinois State Treasurer in 1936; its candidate for U.S. Senator from Illinois in 1938, 1940, 1942, 1944, 1948 and 1950; its candidate for vice-president of the United States in 1952; and its candidate for president in 1956.
