Empō (延宝) was a Japanese era after Kambun and before Tenna and spanned from 1673 to 1681. The reigning emperor was Reigen.


Change of Era

Because of disasters such as a great fire in Kyōto, on the ninth day, 13th month of Kambun, the era was changed to Empō (延宝, "Prolonged Wealth"?)
