Joint Entrance Examination - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (590 words)
The Joint Entrance Examination or JEE is a college entrance examination in India.
The test comprises an objective screening test in April, followed by three subjective exams in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in May. The syllabus is set by the JEE Committee.
By recent statistics, institutes like Harvard and MIT even at the graduate level have an acceptance rate of about 1 in 8, while the JEE has acceptance rates of as low as 1 in 25, simply due to the large number of students that apply.
