Eoin played for the Gonzaga College Panthers from 2000-2001, reaching the final of the Leinster Forsters Cup in 2006. Unforunately he broke his metacarpel in the semi-final victory against Blackrock College and subsequently missed the final where his undoubted talent derserved to be on show. Head Coach, Gareth Pelly, has gone on record saying Eoin's abrasive physical presence was sorely missed and one of the primary reasons for the defeat at the hands of Belvedere College in the final.
