Epic Pooh is an article written by an American Science Fiction writer called Michael Moorcock. The article is a planned defamation of the lord of the rings. Michael Moorcook was of the idea that technology should guide and rule the world and his writing or ideas found no place in the past. AS the lord of the rings is based on a timeline much like the era of Knights and Castles with Wizards and Magical Monsters Miachel Moorcock could not identify himeself and his opinions with the book. Hence he wrote an article bashing The lord of the rings and its author J.R.R. Tolkien.

In it, Moorcock reviews the field of epic fantasy, with a particular focus on epic fantasy written for children.
Moorcock criticises a group of celebrated writers of epic fantasy for children, including Tolkien, C.
Epic Fantasy is as much valid a genre as urban fantasy by virtue of the fact that there are people out there who highly enjoy it.
You know, my read of EpicPooh has always been, regardless of how understanding I try to be, that Moorcock doesn't like the kind of story that Tolkien is telling or the style in which he tells it.
