Epica is the newest RAID storage array series (as of 2006) from Proware Technology Corporation. The Epica series is composed of 2U, 3U, and 4U enclosures consisting of 4Gb FC-FC, FC-SAS/SATA II, SAS-SAS/SATA II, and SCSI-SATA II interaces. The 4U 42-bay Ultra Hi-Density storage is considered the flagship of the Epica series. The Epica series is noted for its innovative use of module and enclosure standardization, its Power Supply/Fan Module, and Special Enclosure Features.
