Meanwhile Gerets will have the chance to lead Bruges to compete in the Champions League (Even if itís going to be hard to improve the results of last season when Bruges won the Championship and achieved the Final of the Belgian Cup).
Gerets also moved Gert Claessens from the sideline to the midfield and replaced Nordin Jbari with the Lithuanian forward Edgaras Jankauskas.
