EricIllsley, Labour MP for Barnsley Central, a member of the Commons foreign affairs committee, called yesterday for an inquiry into why Parliament and the public were not told that the intelligence had been discredited.

EricIllsley MP, patron of Barnsley Alzheimers Society, attended a buffet on Sunday the 26th January at the Keel Inn in Stairfoot to accept a cheque on behalf of the Society from staff at the Tesco Supermarket.
EricIllsley, MP for Barnsley Central, will be campaigning around his constituency this winter to encourage people to claim Labour’s new tax credits and get what they are entitled to.
Mr Illsley said “As approximately only 39 per cent of voters under the age of 24 voted in the last general election, and only 11 per cent in local elections I fully support the Votes Are Power campaign, and I would hope that the schools and the FE colleges encourage their students to enter.
