EricIllsley, MP for Barnsley Central, will be campaigning around his constituency this winter to encourage people to claim Labour’s new tax credits and get what they are entitled to.
Mr Illsley said “As approximately only 39 per cent of voters under the age of 24 voted in the last general election, and only 11 per cent in local elections I fully support the Votes Are Power campaign, and I would hope that the schools and the FE colleges encourage their students to enter.
